What is the maximum altitude of this trip?
The altitude is moderate, but if you are not used to high altitudes, we recommend taking it easy on the first day in Gangtok to acclimatize.
In the winter months, temperatures can drop below 0°C, so you should pack plenty of warm clothing. Even in summer, temperatures can be chilly, especially at high altitudes.
Yes! Both Tsomgo Lake and Nathula Pass are in close proximity, and visiting both in a single day is the best plan. However, Nathula is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
